In-Home Portrait FAQs

 

Do I need a large or perfectly decorated home?
Not at all. I bring a simple, timeless setup and guide you in choosing the best light and space. Your home does not need to be perfect. It simply needs to be lived in and loved.

What should we wear?
I provide guidance to help you choose soft, neutral tones and timeless pieces that photograph beautifully and keep the focus on connection.

What if my children do not cooperate?
That is completely okay. My sessions are designed to be calm and child led. I gently guide when needed, but allow space for natural expressions and movement.

How long does the session last?
Most sessions last about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the flow and needs of your family.

Do you bring everything needed?
Yes. I bring a simple backdrop and everything needed to create a clean, studio quality look right in your home.

When will we receive our images?
Your proof gallery will be delivered within 1 to 2 weeks, with final images ready shortly after selections are made.

What is the investment for an in home fine art portrait session?
The In-Home Fine Art Portrait Experience is designed to be simple, elevated, and all inclusive.
Each collection includes your session along with a curated selection of hand edited digital images and artwork, so nothing additional required.

What is required to book a session?
A 50 percent retainer is required to reserve your session date and is applied toward your total investment.

The remaining balance may be split into two payments if preferred, allowing for a simple and flexible experience.

Do I need to purchase anything additional after my session?
No. Each collection is all inclusive and includes both your session and your selected images.

(Most families choose this collection)
A balanced experience designed for families who want both digital images and printed artwork for their home
Includes your session, 12 hand edited digital images, and three 5x7 fine art prints

The Signature Collection $699
A complete and elevated experience designed to preserve your story in a lasting and tangible way
Includes your session, your full gallery of hand edited images, five 5x7 fine art prints, a luxury album thoughtfully designed for you and crafted as a timeless keepsake to be treasured for generations


Additional artwork may be available if you wish to add to your collection, but it is never required.

 Many families find it difficult to choose just a few favorites and ultimately choose to keep their full gallery so nothing is left behind. For those who prefer to keep every image, full gallery upgrades are also available.
